Stella Lien is a 10th-grade student at the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts (SDSCPA) whose dedication to music and community involvement has distinguished her as a rising young voice in the harp community.

Recently, Stella received the American Harp Society, San Diego Chapter Ambassador Award. Stella’s project is a recollection of the history of the San Diego Harp Society. It honors and acknowledges the harpists that made our chapter what it is today and will provide the public the story of our journey through the past six and a half decades.

This summer, Stella will attend an international harp conference, One Harp World, presented by the American Harp Society, in conjunction with the World Harp Congress, taking place July 28–August 3, 2026, in Toronto, Canada. She will have the opportunity to work with the event organizers. The One Harp World conference brings together harpists from around the world for performances, masterclasses, and cultural exchange.

Stella expresses gratitude to the San Diego Harp Society for its support and looks forward to sharing what she learns from the conference with the local community.
