The San Diego Chapter of the American Harp Society, also known as The San Diego Harp Society (SDHS), is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization formed to support, enhance, and cultivate the local harp community in the greater San Diego area, as well as in the southern California region. Our purpose and mission are to celebrate the harp legacy, inspire musical excellence, and empower the next generation of harpists. We promote community awareness of upcoming harp concerts and draw attention to the activities of our local harp teachers. We celebrate the successes of local students and provide opportunies for their educational training, public performance and annually award scholarships.
Membership dues represent only part of our annual budget. Donations from people like you make it possible to continue our mission of empowering the next generation of harpists through cultivating musical experiences and bringing world-class artists to San Diego!
