Senior Scholarship competition
The San Diego Harp Society is pleased to present our annual Senior Scholarship Competition, held in conjunction with our Annual Chapter Recital each spring. This year the scholarship competition will take place in person on May 4, 2025, on the same date as the Annual Chapter Recital.
Harp students graduating from high school and continuing their education on to a credited college or university are eligible for the competition. There is no limit on the number of students that can apply and award scholarship is dependent upon several factors including the applicant & application, their involvement in the SDHS and their audition performance.

Senior Scholarship auditions will be held prior to the Annual Student Recital on May 4, 2025
Required Repertoire
1. One piece from or inspired by the repertoire on this list, memorized.
2. A contrasting piece of your choice, memorized.

SDHS Harp Education Scholarship
The San Diego Harp Society is pleased to present the opportunity for San Diego students to receive aid in lesson tuition and/or harp rental.
General Music Scholarships are available through the San Diego Chapter of the American Harp Society / San Diego Harp Society on a rolling basis. Scholarships are applicable to both private harp lessons and harp rental fees. Scholarships awards are $100/month and are awarded in 6 month increments. Students may apply for scholarships more than once. All ages (youth - adult) are welcome to apply.

SDHS SUmmer camp scholarship
New for this summer, the San Diego Harp Society is pleased to be able to offer 3 stipends of $150 each for harp students to attend a music summer camp of their choice! This stipend is limited to current members of the SDHS, 18 years of age or younger, who are taking regular lessons.

Fiscal sponsorships
The San Diego Harp Society is pleased to offer fiscal sponsorships for projects relating to the SDHS’s mission. Project proposals may be sent to the SDHS Board and will be accepted with rolling admission.
